Hama Beads Pattern Generator

01

A generator tuned for Hama

Pick the Hama palette and every pixel of your photo is matched to the closest real Hama colour. The built-in palette covers the full mainstream Hama colour range with on-screen approximations.

02

From photo to pegboard

Set the width in beads, limit the colour count, and toggle Floyd–Steinberg dithering for smoother gradients. Background removal turns logos and stickers into shaped patterns with empty borders.

03

Shopping list included

The materials list tells you exactly how many beads of each Hama colour code to buy — copy it as TSV with one click.

How it works

01

Upload a photo

Drop in any image — a person, a pet, a logo or pixel art. Remove the background with AI and crop to the subject. It never leaves your browser.

02

Tune the settings

Set the pattern width in beads, the colour count and the palette. Turn on dithering for smoother gradients, or remove the background for shaped patterns.

03

Export your chart

Check the bead counts and the per-colour shopping list, export a PNG chart, or open the editor to refine by hand.
