Which Hama bead size is supported?

The built-in Hama palette follows the Hama Midi (5 mm) system, the most common size for pegboards and ironing.

How do I remove the background of my photo?

Right after uploading, click “Remove background”: AI cutout runs locally in your browser and you can crop the result before generating. For logos with uniform backgrounds, the generator also flood-fills leftover background to empty cells.

Hama Beads Pattern Generator

A generator tuned for Hama

Pick the Hama palette and every pixel of your photo is matched to the closest real Hama colour. The built-in palette covers the full mainstream Hama colour range with on-screen approximations.

From photo to pegboard

Set the width in beads, limit the colour count, and toggle Floyd–Steinberg dithering for smoother gradients. Background removal turns logos and stickers into shaped patterns with empty borders.

Shopping list included

The materials list tells you exactly how many beads of each Hama colour code to buy — copy it as TSV with one click.
